We might have to hide the women and children.

One time someone hired my crew to put together a humorously "blue" puppet show for her husband's 50th birthday party. We did.

Boy, were they sorry.

Alas...I am still here. What a night. My mom was freaking out, hysterical. Talked her down, called the nurse on duty and she told me to stay home...she would probabaly just get worse if I went in. Couldn't get her to stop crying. She has been in a pit the last week or so. Yesterday I took her to the docs and out for an ice cream and she was fine. We had a great time. Don't know what set her off... She has 3 ruptured discs in her back from a work related injury in 1984....so she is in a lot of pain. And on a lot of pain meds. Maybe that is what got her. Scared to go in today....fraid of what I might find.

I am getting ready to post some pix... then I expect all of you okie chicken wizards to tell me what to do......

OkieChick- I was laughing so hard when reading that post. I was that girl, only I had chickens and I had never had them before. I would go in there and ask for feed and on the feed board there were like 20+ feeds for chickens. I was so overwhelmed and all the farmers go in and are shootin the breeze while they are getting loaded. I was so intimidated. I read this forum and then when I went in next time I totally faked it. I just said I need... and then I never had another problem.

US city chicks take a while to adapt but, give us time

Yea maybe, that is why he is waiting till tomorrow to leave. there was 40-50 other travelers there they are trying to shuffle around. Im sure once he gets home his local in arlington can get him somewhere next week. Its just the inital cost to travel is so expensive.

GRAPHIC PIC ALERT

Ok..On Friday I wormed everybody with Eprinex pour on... thinking that was the last thing I could try for my skinny, skanky, snarky hens. Today I go in to clean and this is what I find.....

The worms were dead. What I need to know is
1. What kind of worms are they? Where did they come from?
2. Is the Eprinex going to be enough to kill them?
3. Is that copious bleeding normal...will it resolve after the infestation has cleared?
4. Could that be what's wearing them down?
