Im not tired but I guess I should head to bed. Gotta be up at 4am. Wife gets off at midnite so she will wake me when she comes in and i toss and turn for the next few hours after that. I dont remember what a good nites sleep feels like.
Sooner, how long did it take to build that coop and white kinda clucks are those in it?

Started on it around 2pm on Sat an worked till dark (7:30 ish) and about the same on Sunday. Monday about 2 hours. That isn't counting the few minutes it took today to put the hasp locks on it.
The chickens are Bantam white cochins. They came from TJ's Nana & Bill (after Tina bought them first LOL).
Hey Al! How are you feeling? Did you fight with any building parts today? I thought of Stimpy and you when I saw a couple of HUGE White Rock roosters at the Tulsa poultry show - I mean, these guys were as big as the big Orpington roos. HUGE!
Hi City, just sitting here listening to the Coyotes and waiting for the Great Horned owl to come sit atop the Turkey pen so I can get a pic of it.
Those Toms do not like it sitting there either and try to get it through the wire. Hate to think what would happen if it were to get in the pen but I bet they would break a bunch of laws before I could intervene!

I am duck sitting them for a friend. They are gorgeous and cute and fluffy and nice to look at. Not too messy as ducks go and yes they are loud. That is why they are called call ducks. Actually it is because when live decoys were allowed for duck hunting they are the ones that were used.
I have two trios. One of the hens has a gimpy leg and needs a loving soul to pamper her.
I heard tell of a lady in Tulsa that once took care of a one legged pigeon.

Try the Nature Conservancy, too. Also check with some of the big Universities like OSU or that other one...sometimes there may be a grad student going for a doctorate in a related field that could use a research intern. Companies that do groundwater testing, etc. are another place you might try.
