I am duck sitting them for a friend. They are gorgeous and cute and fluffy and nice to look at. Not too messy as ducks go and yes they are loud. That is why they are called call ducks. Actually it is because when live decoys were allowed for duck hunting they are the ones that were used.
I have two trios. One of the hens has a gimpy leg and needs a loving soul to pamper her.
I heard tell of a lady in Tulsa that once took care of a one legged pigeon.

I heard they make good raccoon bait. Dang it, they are cute - little short round toy bills. They look like those toy yellow rubber duckies.

Cammie, Also Big energy companaies like Devon Energy have special Environmental departements> I was on jury duty with a big dog environmentalist guy that works for Devon.
What is the other big energy company in OKC? I can't think.

If I was to ever actually own another duck they are the way I would go.

Glad Jared liked it. Sounds like you had a busy day! We only had soccer practice but that takes the whole evening.

I am doing good Cammie, I got my voice back on Thursday but was still in & out. Had it back on Friday and I think today is the first day my ears haven't popped all day long! Its no wonder considering I played in the rain! I hope you are feeling better.

The yellow toy rubber ones?

Dr. Les, I remember.

I have a hen that has a swollen area under her eye and back from her nostril.
It is not the yellow gunky stuf they get in there eyes. It really is not in her eye at all. I know sometimes they can stuff trapped in their eyes. Anyway how do I treat it? Do I try and drain it?

I am sorry, I thought the subject of our conversation was Call ducks. The rubber yellow ones are much cheaper to keep.
