I slit for the birds, not doing large livestock though, not enough pasture (water) or facilities. I do use some homemade kill cones though, it keeps them confined nicely and they bleed out well. I haven't done a 50# turkey, are you kidding me? That would be a HUGE cone.

Don't run off boy !!! We are fixing to get hammered hard, they are moving up this way and it don't look good. Time to let the dang TV guy scare the women and children.

Good e-mails by the way, very funny stuff. I used to go to Octoberfest every year when I was there went 5 times what a blast.

Well I hope you all are safe my birds look like drowned rats!!! The rain did finally let up enough to feed!!! But what is even funnier is I made the kids go out and water they got one pen done and then looked at me and said dad why we watering its raining!!!! I never laughed so hard I figured they would figure it out before they started lol

Hey Hey Hey, EveryOkie!! I was about to call the weatherman earlier and ask how come he said we were going to get 5 inches of rain and did he really mean 5 ounces....then it really started coming down so I don't get to call and make fun of him today.

RUN, SOONER, RUN! You're in a tornado watch, dude.

So Jack is running an errand for me to pick up some equipment, and he is sitting on the expressway in a traffic jam...just past an exit that he can't get back to...talking on the phone to me, when I remind him that he drives a Land Cruiser... I hear "click" then about 10 seconds later he calls back to tell me he just drove off the freeway down a grassy knoll to get to the other street below. (He usually doesn't hang up on me unless I say "Honey, let's talk about our relationship.")

Stimpy. I don't know how you come up with that stuff....

Welcome tcorley!! I liked your message. "I am an Okie. in Sperry." Hello from Tulsa.

I'm trying to stay dry, Q! It's nasty down here. I have a big job next week so this week is all about getting stuff ready for it. Been too busy to hang out on BYC all day like I should be doing, so I just jump on and off a lot...

Thank you.

I actually thought I was bidding on this pair:

I had checked out some of the birds earlier and then came back for the auction after it had already started. However, if I had realized it was a pair of Modern Games I would have been even more excited to bid.

So now we have two pair of Red Pyles but I'm happy. I think they are pretty good looking pairs. I hope they show well. I'll get the OEG's pullet heavier. Hopefully, that will work out like I have planned. I'm going to blame Jarvis' husband for all of this. This all started with the trio at POOPS. Now less than a month later, we have 9 game bantams.

Sherri, you have three chicks out now? That's great

Are you showing those Cochins at Idabel?
Just be patient on opening that 'bator! They can definitely stay in for 24 hours after hatch and still be a-okay

Those Moderns look pretty nice to me, at least what I can see of them... The rooster looks nice, anyway! Red Pyle is one of my favorite colors too

That is good that he is dubbed, I didn't realize that!

ETA: The OEGB pair looks pretty nice too, I just like Moderns better
