Went to the Dizzy Dean Days at Spaulding yesterday. Talked chickens with some nice folks. Told them to look up BYC.
Not much at the tractor show. Too Muddy but we had fun anyway.

What a cold day for this early in October! My husband went bowhunting last night. Could have shot does, but decided he didn't want to clean it, so let them walk. No decent bucks out. He is taking Emma to go set up some more stands in Cheyenne Valley. Got a couple really nice shooters over there that he wants to get set up for. I'm staying in the house. It's warm here.

Me and the baby are gonna hang and play on BYC, my barrel racing site and watch some HGTV. I might do some laundry.
I am almost 2 weeks on my eggs I got from POOPS. Have the incubator set and haven't had to open it up. Can't find my candling flashlight. Not sure if it was needed by a higher power, by that I mean a 5 yo little girl who thinks she should have possession of all things that light up. I have 12 dozen eggs in there. I have marans, brabanters,silkies, naked necks, guinea, a couple turkeys and some others that I can't remember right now. Can't wait to see what I end up with. Prayers for good hatching juju. Then for some good brooding juju since I am not sure where I am going to keep all of them. lol
