That was what I was told when I got him then some people much smarter then me looked at him a lot better and came to a different conclusion. The Orientals have very subtle differences that I have not yet learned.

I have people ask me what my bantam orientals weigh and I tell them about four or five pounds. Then the fight starts. They rant and rave that no bantam could be that big!

I just let them finish up and tell them that the standards weigh 15+ pounds so a 5 pound bird would be 1/3 the weight of the LF, perfect bantam size!

That photo is from the spring, he looks different now, more filled out and taller. I don't even think he has molted this year, so he's still in his first feather.
