You've got a lot to go at this point. Were they all started at the same time?

They were all started at the same time. Figured it would be "easier". haha
We are still excited. Each egg that hatches is a small miracle. Never ceases to amaze me and I love sharing it with my 5 yo daughter. Even my non chicken loving husband is intrigued during hatching time.

I know this isn't chicken related, but here's a video clip of the Tuttle vs. Newcastle football game from Friday night. My cousin's boy, Ethan Biddy, #14, is in quite a bit of the clip.

Ok, well his family does have some chickens and a turkey I gave them last year ... and they do have the last name Biddy ... that's chicken related, right

Dr. Les

I rewormed all my hens tuesday night... (Before I did just the really flimsy ones....) Anyways I am still getting lots of worms in the poop....

Poor hens....I managed to pull my pet hen back from death's door....and the snarkies are abating....of course its 90 degrees....

I am planning on reworming again in one month.... I shot my red hen up with Tylan to no avail so I tried 1 CC of LA-200, Knocked it right out. No I am treating with the LS-50 again...a smaller dose and I want to go less time...Is that a bad idea. Hens are still eating well and are getting more robust by the day....feathers are coming in well... But I don't want to over/under medicate for the snarkies....if the hens are still immunally challenged due to worms. Not getting any blood but lots of those round worms....I have also DC'd the stall dri on the droppings boards...When it gets cold I don't use it because there are no flies....I noticed a lot of sneezing when it warmed up and I started using it again...so I'm gonna see if it helps any to take it away. Might just have beeen weather change.....

we have been having problems with the RIR getting out of the run- she made the mistake of doing it while hubby was out there- she is good at finding holes, so hubby had to fix the netting on top...silly girl!
