Evenin Ya'll,

My wife asked me a funny question today. If chicken poop is such good fertilizer then why is all the grass in their run disappearing?

Anyone care to field that one??

I gave her my standard answer

I dump my chicken poop in the wheat field behind the house....my farmer LOVES me!! He says he pays big bucks for that anhydrous ammonia (?) Now he gets a small patch for free!

Les...Still gettin big wormies!!

I told her it was very hot, but I couldn't get her to touch it & see for herself

Also told her that our chickens have extra large feet and they were stompin the grass to death, that didn't seem to do the trick either.
