I admit to being rather cranky tonight... my check was shorted over half my hours, they're blaming a "system problem", but the truth is somebody "done screwed up" and this check will end up going all to bills and none to the last piece of plywood and the paint for the coop.

Their idea of fixin' it is to issue me a second check... on the NEXT payday.

P&B - 16 days! Thanks...will know stuff on the cages Friday...how many could you handle?

About 5-7 cages if he has that many. I have used them constantly for mama hens w/chicks and for rabbits. Square or double or triple, I don't care.

Hello everyone!!! I always check in right when everyone starts to bed!

Earlier this year my mom and I were talking about how the Monarch butterflies used to migrate through our area. I remember several cool cloudy fall days where monarchs would fill the sky all day. My mom was our Girl Scout leader, and after a meeting we all went outside to 'run with the butterflies'.

Since I haven't seen as many around here this year, I got this crazy idea to help get some here! I've found websites where you can order caterpillars, eggs, and chrysallis. Also milkweed and butterfly plants, and plans for 'butterfly houses'.

So next spring I am going to start a butterfly garden in my backyard! I've been wanting to do it anyway, but maybe if I start with caterpillars in it, I will attract even more butterflies. Just had to share my idea, I'm so excited!

That sounds like a great idea. I enjoy the butterfly tent at the State Fair and the butterfly garden at the Zoo.
Most plants that attract butterflies will also attract honeybees. Have you ever considered becoming a beekeeper?

During the week days, I work for a very large insurance company in a very small department.

3 nights a week and 1 weekend day, I work in an arts & crafts store on the southside of OKC as a front end supervisor (glorified cashier who does returns/refunds/exchanges... and takes the brunt of customer anger until the manager on duty shows up).
