Oh my goodness, am I the last AND first post???

I'm watching News 9 and saw a commercial for a place called the Stitching Post. At the end of the commercial there is a man, with a beard, dressed like a woman. And of course I thought of the Chickendales!

The weather is supposed to warm up a bit today, hope everyone has a good day!

Hows it going Okies, hope everyone has a great weekend. Was suppose to be deer hunting this morning but my wifes been to upset for me to leave her alone. I dont mind though, family is the most important thing I have. Looks like these two winny dog puppies are leaving my house by tonite, thank GOD! There so cute i would keep them both if they stayed any longer and I dont have time to potty chain any little ankle biters at this time.

Lightning, I was really touched by your testimony of taking care of your mom. My mom is in a nursing home now. We had her for eleven years and the some years before that. I was thinking about it last night...that it's hard to watch them become someone you really kinda don't know.....and I always feel like I am not doing enough...I go visit her every day and the days she feels pretty good I try to spend extra time there....last night I talked to her on the phone for about 45 minutes and I was struck how it was like the old days. I cried for an hour after I hung up.

Good Morning everyone, I am officially 49 today as yesterday was my birthday! My DW took me out to eat last night, had a steak and shrimp at Sirloin Stockade! While we were eating there was a little old man paying out and he had a heart attack and fell in the floor, scarred everyone in the place, he hit real hard, they called an ambulance and my nephew the paramedic was the team that responded! They took him to the hosp. Wife and I were going to a movie but there was nothing showing we wanted to see so we went and walked around Hobby Lobby and bought a puzzle for Dakota to put up for Christmas. We crusied around the OSU Campus a while and then went to Hastings and rented movies and went home and watched movies till 1:30 am, up early and fed Heather, she is my early riser here. Chores are done and watching cartoons with Heather, hope all have a nice day today, headed to my mom's for lunch and uuuuhhh some home made German Chocolate Cake for my Birthday!!!! Later, Lynn

It sure would be a nice day to not be at work, but I am. Got promoted so now I deal poker a few days a week and the rest of the time I'm the floor supervisor. Didn't want totake it but it was the only way I could get a weekend day off, now I have Sunday and Monday off, yeah!!! Sent the wife a text asking how many chicks have hatched so far but she is not at home, darn.

I'm not on here much...these okies talk to much for me to keep up with consistently

I pop in every once in a while to say hi, and see how everyone is doing. If I make a post I try my best to hang around a little while to try to make sure I don't miss responses.

AL: I would be HIGHLY interested in your methods of preparing and freezing potatoes.
