Why would you have to lie? I'd tell them I shot their dogs and still make them pay for the chickens. According to the sherrif here in Rogers county if they are on my property bothing my stock I can shoot them dead and there is nothing the owners can do about it. He went on to say that just because there is no leash law in the county that does not negate the responsibility of a dog's owner. So if they were killing chickens and you shot them that is your right, it's also your right to get the damage they caused paid for by the owners of the dogs. I would.

Wow...where is everyone tonite? not much going on here, laptop powercord died so am on the big computer- how annoying! have got al's brahmas in the big run sectioned off from the main flock, they are getting close in size, hopefully can integrate them soon- the Roo has been behaving himself, not showing alot of aggression, hopefully he will redeem himself. Was wondering if anyone insulates their coops?

How is everyone doing today? I'm worn out. It is really quiet with several people in Blanchard tonight. I just got 47 Cornish Crosses today. I also got 4 young gamebirds. They are mixed but still pretty. Roy (Teach) and Shawn (Shidalgo) came by today. It was great to talk to them. Roy ended up taking five baby ducks, three buttons, and three baby guineas of my hands. He also took two of my fryers and three dozen eggs. It is great to have a few less birds to take care of. I seriously need a plucker to take of of thos birds.. They are ready for butchering. I'm pretty tired this evening. I had to get some pens built for all those birds. I wasn't expecting to get that many. Roy was also kind enough to give my son a few new quail. Which by the way he hasn't stopped talking about all day. He is excited to have some new colors in his pen.

Well, Blanchard was fun, but not for the usual reasons.

We got there late because we finished up our construction projects late. Everyone was already watching the show. Got to visit with lots of folks. Teach and Shildago, Henny and hubby, P&B (was having so much talking to her that I almost made her miss a rooster she had her heart set on bidding on), Al, Carla and Gerald (shocked to see him there!), Michael and several other good BYC folks.

We left early because we were kind of tired. I was out of the building before I realized I hadn't even bid on anything. Almost turned around just to do that, but resisted the temptation. Now, that's a first!

And is it me, or is that new auctioneer kind of grating in his aggressive approach??

OK I see that I made a mistake, it isn't Buster that has a page on processing.....Who was it that AL went to help out?? I planed to use his page if I ever made it to processing. Of Course now that the place in Talhequah is doing them for 1.50 I'm not sure that I won't just go that route.
