Hi Carah, How is life tonight? I am gonna be gone the next four Days/nights.
I will probably check in in the morning but we are leaving when Jared gets out of school. I still have tons to do to get ready but I am in one of those
"Know I have to but I don't want to moods".

From the thread no one seems to have had a problem.....I figure I will test it to see, I am also going to look for one of the thremostat timer....or use a regurlar timer where it comes on a couple of times a day. It has to be cooler than a heat lamp.

I think you can find the thermocubes on Amazon.com - at least they have them that will turn a fan on in the summer at a certain temperature, that I have in my "to buy" list next summer. I think they also have them to come on at a low temperature, but when I was looking at them I couldn't think of why you would need one that comes on at a low temperature and goes off when it is warmer (the 100+ temperature this summer affected my ability to think logically

Life is moving along. I stayed busy till dark then came in the house to pick up and chat with the Okie's. You guys off to go hunting again??? Matt is planning to go this weekend too.

I hate those moods, I don't understand why I always get them when it has to do with thing getting done indoors! LOL.

side thought: How does a rooster instantly spot a hen that he hasn't seen in a while? I let me two back in with the flock today while free ranging, he spotted her the moment she moved in with the other girls...

They talked about them on the thread & I have seen them either on the web or one of the stores I go to.....turns on at 30 degree's and off at 35.

This is my way of thinking:

Every chicken you take to a show is like a ticket...

I have a mid-sized SUV so I have limited space...

I can get 1 large fowl or 2 bantams or 4 seramas in one of my show boxes...

I can haul about 8 boxes... (I refuse to even think about turning a bunch of chickens loose in the car unlike some of our cohorts!

Could you imagine getting the chickens all washed & lubed up and then the cocks fighting the whole way?

)

So that means we can have 8 or 16 or 32 "chances" of winning big!

And this would be called Sherri Math!!!

Yes, I know there are some serious flaws to my way of thinking...

(and you don't even have to mention that Seramas are not recognized by the ABA to begin with)

Hey Charley - no, haven't found it locally. Poultryand bees was kind enough to bring some to me at the spring POOPS.

City I can get it up here and we are going to start some christmas shopping in your area so if you come to the time that you need more I can pick it up here and bring it to you when we come!! We will let you know when we head that way and maybe we can get a group together and have a BYC dinner!!!

Hey can I join ya on that?
