I was a machinegunner in the Corps. I think you may be talking about the M-60, my baby. I'd like to see a guy carry and free fire a 50 cal too.

Outside the movies, that is.

Although come to think of it, I'll bet Al could.

faerielady - Maybe it's just me, but I find your new sig line hilarious....
Flu....gees, around here we can't get past all the normal viruses to
worry about flu. So far, all we can sign off for is Kendra for a regular
flu shot at school this week.

Monty - I'm with you..... The hunting and fishing is "always good"
whether or not you bring anything home.

Have a good one !

One reason it has taken me almost 2 hours of reading to get caught up on what I missed sincy early yesterday morning, is I have tried to welcome the new folks as I went along - and then find my place in the reading again.

Well if I took the motor out of her washing machine that would mean that I would have to buy her a new set and that isnt going to happen this set isnt even a year old. I am sure that the trusty old craigslist will help me out to find another machine!!

Evening everyone,

My Oh My You all have been busy chirping away these past few days since I was last on to visit. Been a crazy weekend... Cleaned out our shanty( a 67 year old building that used to be a chicken coop) which then made a even bigger mess in the yard.. the neighbors must be thinking they live next to a dump.. HA HA HA

Last night we thought we lost our BR Roo Tink, but praise the Lord we didnt considering thats our daughters roo and she loves him very much... Even had my hubby praying that we would find him... to which we did, some how he got out of the run(like the other one did the other day that we lost) Tink was located chilling out under neith the coop.. lol. Im just happy we found him since it was dark thirty outside. DD was happy considering she was crying up until we located him.

Beautiful weather expected will be having us work on the zombie projects that have been haunting us to get finished... Any hoot its my time to fly...btw the Apple Pie I made Friday turned out just fine

You haven't lived til you've roughed it in the Rockies. Now that I've lived, I'll never do it again. It's a motorhome or travel trailer at the very least for me from now on. Welcome back Monty.

No slinking away allowed! It's not that big a deal. I fired a big 50 cal one time in training at Camp Pendleton and that was about as close to it as I ever got. That's the only reason I think it would be tough to carry one. VERY impressive gun, by the way.

But the M-60! Now, that was a different story! I loved that gun. One day for fun me and some buddies chopped down a small tree with one, firing from the hip.

Took a few rounds, though.

I see from your signature line that you already have a few chickens. This group is wonderful for helping everyone acquire more poultry, hatch eggs and find the poultry auctions.

Of course, the group also has a number of people who are "addicted" to acquiring more poultry, hatcing eggs and attending poultry auctions.

Hay I resemble that remark
