Oh this is cool! The two eggs are supposed to be hatching on Tuesday. I was just poking fun at checking the incubator however I did just go look and the OEGB is nearly out! This is the first OEGB that I've hatched.

I hope it is Red Pyle. Do all RP have RP chicks? Okay, now I sound dumb. I'll shut up now.

Guy at work, his kids came down with hamthrax (Swine Flu/H1N1). Everybody freaked out. I'm giving this poor guy whatever help he needs at work... dudes. It's a virus. If we're gonna get it, we're gonna get it. Act normal. Take precautions like, oh... washing your hands and covering your mouth when you cough. ENJOY LIFE. You only get one shot at it, ya know?​

I had to make a harvest table decoration tonight... the store where I work part time is having a large fall foliage sale, 60% off most of the fall bushes and such, so I picked up some stuff, plus a small "arts and crafts hay bale". I already had the rooster from a couple weeks ago. I think it needs some low leafy ground cover between the floral bushes/flowers/tall grasses and the hay bale itself to cover up the sight of where the stems are pushed into the bale.

Decent start though, at least I think so.

Wow! I don't think I ever saw it where there were no late nighters on! My biological clock isn't set to the new time yet so I am up early!At least DW can sleep in for a while longer. Found a great site for the oriental games. Its shamoman.com; don't think I can afford his eggs but sure am going to try.

I got a call from my buddy Lewis last night. He told me to stop by today at about 10:30 & pick up 16 BB Red chicks and some hatching eggs, yippee!! His BB's are the rose combed & slate grey legged strain that are great layers and excellent show birds. I've been after them since I first saw them a few months back, they are of way higher quality than my current quad of BB Reds. This years fair here in Claremore was the first year that an open class was offered for chickens, look out Claremore, next year there's going to be a new player in town <insert simi-evil laugh here>
