Buster thanks for the link that makes me feel great all the eggs that I have seen from my flock are fertile which means that I finally have a roos that know how to do their job!!!

Maybe that's what I need is fainting goats. I sure don't want any goats on top of vehicles. The only other worry is I'd have to fence off the garden or any other plants I don't want eaten. I've got a trio of young great pyrenees, a german shepherd and an old australian shepherd mix that should be good to protect them ... that is, if they accept them as part of the critters that belong on the property. Yeah, I think a couple of wethers might be good ... or a few llamas

Daughter has a Kicko buck that we would LOVE to get rid of, and two sweet fainting x does. The fainting/nubian doe keeps jumping out of the pen - presumably because the buck does. The fainting/pygmy doe is to little to jump on anything much over knee high.

The buck was not raised around other goats - he thinks he's people. He jumps out of the pen to be near us. Unfortunately, he's all into the dominance thing and is constantly butting people. With his sharp, not so little horns, he's getting dangerous...

I could have gotten some regular greys from Bruce at pinnonhatch.com, where I got my Lacey Roundheads, and did get one regular grey egg from him that hatched, but I really like the Golden Duckwing coloring on the Law Grey's.

No idea what I'm going to do with that one lone regular grey....

Got about 95 eggs in the hatcher now, cant wait to see what we get out of these mutts. Sometimes them mixed breeders are the prettiest ones. Got them in the hatcher a day late, cause someboby forgot yesterday

Got a few chirping already. I love hatching time!

Buster - Glad you posted those pics, I've always wondered what the fertile eggs looked like.

How's everyone been enjoyin the awesome weather? My chicks are lovin it, they run around like little feathered dinosaurs.
