Cammie, the hatching eggs I bought are black copper marans, blue marans, white marans and BLR wyandottes! I actually already have some of all these & some are even laying already but I need some more and unrelated bloodlines to strengthen the flocks. Ok all you show people I have a question I dont have my bands yet for my birds and on the registration on the Shawnee entry forms ask for band numbers what do I do because I have to have this in the mail tomorrow and wont have my bands till next week. Quenston

Your band order should say something like "band #s 50-100", if it does, then write down any numbers that are included in the ones you bought, and make a note to yourself of which ones to put on which birds

I raise meat rabbits and like them. I am still working on finding a way to tenderize the leg quarters so they aren't so tough (maybe soak them in Coca Cola for a few hours?) but we really enjoy the tenderloin from the rabbit.

Glad you are enjoying hot tea with honey. It certainly soothes a sore throat and I start drinking it when I am losing my voice due to swollen vocal cords caused by allergies and drainage. It really helps.

Is anyone going to the Fletcher auction this Saturday? I expect to see our dear friend Al there, since he lives close to Fletcher. I just hope I don't still have a cold by then, and I hope my sweet hubby will take me.
