I hear you on that one. I cut back a few years ago. I only make homemade gifts for friends and distant family. This year it is soup mixes. Last year it was picante sauce & BBQ sauce, only time will tell what next year will be.
What would I do w/o Cuban...I shudder to think such thoughts!
What ya doin'? My kids are studying...Semester tests start tomorrow so we are getting corrections to old test so we have soemthing to study. Well that is what the kids that want to pass are doing. I have a faction that are making paper toys...frogs that hop, some nice throwing stars...then they want to know about extra credit...um...NO!!!!
ok I had to pop back on say that I just had a hoot with my kids and another egg that Cruella laid either last night or early this morning..
Spotted an egg while DD and I was giving the chickens water and food... Left it there because we had other birds hollering at us to give them their food and water and to let them out.
DS goes into the coop spots the egg and says mom its cracked what do I do with it... I said let me see
Shows me a very frozen cracked down the middle egg. I told him to go toss it in the field.
Him and his sister go to toss it and it bounces as it hits the ground... They go after it, pick it up and the shell falls off leaving again a perfectly frozen egg minus the shell...
They toss it again to which I say ok no more egg tossing.
I had never seen a frozen egg with out a shell before... kinda cool looking all slick and shiny.lol

You need to add grits, Okra that isn't fried and jalepeno pepper jelly (which Stimp just "thinks" he doesn't like, since he has never tried it)
Wasn't it a wooden bowl that Stimp said he would rather eat than eat grits?
Thanks P&B! I knew that list was quite incomplete - grits is the other one I remember him talking about hating. I guess I'll have to add "wooden bowl" to the list of things Stimpy will eat!

Sell the eggs to your friend, rather than the cafe. What he does with them after that is up to him. He just has to take the usual steps in serving them.
I'm listening to some blues, drinking coffee, popping in and out of this board, and working on a project that has taken up about a year of my life. I'm chained to my desk for awhile. Oh yeah, I'm watching TV too (but I'm always watching TV). What have you got going?
Shawn - how are you feeling? Is Teach helping you out with the heavy lifting lately?
Teach
My project for today is Christmas cards and to put the stuff that's supposed to be in the basement back in the basement. Of course, that's been my project for a couple of weeks...so it may never happen.
