Stimpy - I am forcing kids to study for a test that they don't want to take, that won't afect their grade, and is a pain to grade. This is how semesters end. Doesnt really matter how or when you do it it is just the way it is. You can't teach new material this close to the end...they will forget it over the break...and well...some are using it to get their English projects done...some are using it to irritate me...but I myself am getting my grades done, my room clean, and inform the bird public of important stuff...that and laughing at some of the other posts!

I cant stay away, and now that some one mentioned Grits I really cant leave the thread.... HMMMMM HOT Grits and Eggs with salt and pepper....

I know this is so dumb but can I say I am excited that Hubby might be getting his Leave this Christmas...

He asked me last night to make a honey do list on what I would like to have him do on his 2 weeks of leave and I said all in one breath I would like US (since I like doing this stuff too)

Dump Runs for the items we cant burn
Clean up the Shop
Finish cleaning up the Property (nearly there)
Burn Baby Burn

He laughed and fell asleep...LOL I guess he figures he better get in enough sleep now until he signs out for leave at 12:01 am Friday Morning...LOL

I wonder if I made him Grits or Cream of Wheat that it would help him be more excited...LOL just kidding he asked I told now the works gotta get done.

I can understand your excitement Jeannie! You all have been working so incredibly hard to clean up your place, and it sounds like you are making some real progress!

I think I can relate a little - I cleared about 2 acres of heavy brush, trashy trees and mega-Jurassic poison ivy behind my house - it took me 3 years. When you start out it is a never-ending project that eats your lunch and sometimes you feel like it's a lost cause, but once you see some progress, it gets really exciting and gives you new energy. It will all be SO WORTH IT once you're done (not that you'll ever be really done, but you know what I mean)!

Sell the eggs to your friend, rather than the cafe. What he does with them after that is up to him. He just has to take the usual steps in serving them.

I get my nest boxes at Lowes (some assembly required). Beats paying shipping.

I put a pack of dark hot chocolate then pour coffee over it and add milk. I don't like the taste of coffee, so I have to cover it up. It sure is good that way! But I do notice that if I have to get it at a gas station or somewhere else, it is never as good as I make it at home. I think for one, their coffee is weak and I think I might make mine a little stronger, probably bcs I just really don't know how much to pour in the thingy for just a few cups, LOL.

Hey Krazy (if I may call you by your middle name),

I use Tasters Choice instant coffee by Nescafe. The coffee comes in little, measured tubes. You just snip off the end and pour it in a cup, add hot water and voila, coffee that tastes freshly brewed. The best part is that because it's pre-measured, every cup tastes the same. It has the Stimpy Stamp of Approval.

Sorry Teach, I don't have any Doo Clays. I love the mille Fluer coloring though. I guess I will have to get it in the new spring Game line.
I might be able to find a MilleFluer Duccle around these parts though.
