Mornin' all!

Bethel is a lot like the school my girls went to. Now my grandkids all go there. However, Bethel is considerably larger than our school. I think. I kinda miss when my girls were in school. I was everybody's "other" mother. When the kids all got old enough to drive, it wasn't unusual for some teenage kid (boy, usually) to walk right in the front door and holler "Hi Mom! Whatcha got to eat?" Come to think of it, my grocery budget it glad the girls are grown, now!

That sounds like my house. My nephew graduated high school 2 years ago but before that he was on the wrestling team for as long as I can remember. Before he was even driving I had the wrestling team over here daily(the older teammates would drive). we leave our door unlocked here and I remember coming home to a note on my door " Aunt Fluff, Came by to see you drank all the sprite and you are out of bologna, Love the boys". None of which were my actual nephew. They still come over and all of them are graduated, plus now I have all the other teenage kids since I have 4 teenagers of my own. It is not unusual to cook for 15 or more a night.

Good Morning good morning, the sun is out shining. Good morning good morning to my Okie friends!

I just got home from taking kiddo to school and I am debating on hopping back into bed or getting things done. LOL Bed is really tempting bcs it so nice and warm with the heating blanket, mmmmm. But I am a lot more wide awake today than I normally am.

I think I have seen it all now. I stayed up late last night watching a transgender couple have a baby, and the man (now a woman) was breast feeding the baby once it was born. Kind of weird, but I looked up online and apparently it is even in the bible that the men breast feed the babies when the mom could not or died or something. In fact, it was not uncommon at all for a man to breast feed when something happened to the mother. So yes, a man can lactate too and feed a small little one. However, it was funny that the doc tried claiming that the guy had to still have hormones for it and that he had never heard of it done before, but didn't see why they couldn't try. I was like you moron look it up on the internet there has been hundreds of cases where men breast fed without even receiving hormones.

Thank the powers that be, did not think I would make it.
Yesterday was so nice. I spent the evening playing with my chickens, reorganizing the coop. It was so funny, I was moving things around outside the chicken yard and all the chickens, turkeys and the peacock were standing by the fence watching me. It was the funniest thing. Nosy little buggers!
Today is holiday party, pizza party, as well as arts and crafts all day. I think the teachers are just as ready for the break as the kids, maybe more so. This evening I am going to spend with my daughter and Uli, so it is going to be a wonderful day. Yeah!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

I'm just having a blah day. I didn't have any of the poly-vi-sol at home (only thing I looked for before I left the house), took my kid to school & now I'm at work with no idea of when/where I'll be able to buy the stuff since it's my 14 hour day. I won't even get home until 10pm tonight, later if I have to hit more than 1 Walgreens in order to find the stuff without iron... I am hoping that the silkie will still be alive so I can treat it.

Good morning everyone! The late crowd must be arriving, since I'm here! And in the words of the famous nnbreeder:

Thanks Sooner, Muesky, Kate and everyone for the wonderfully energetic and bright morning greetings - what a great way to meet the day!

Faerie and Stray - so sorry about your ailing birds. Faerie - can you call a nearby Walgreens to find polyvisol sans iron before you leave work? I'll bet they'd hold a bottle at the counter for you.

One other thing I noticed...where's Buckguy's GFM? He looks so blue...

My last name is Winsworth. However, my mother's family homesteaded in this area - just north of Seminole. The cemetary at Little is full of various family members. Her maiden name was Spoonemore.
