Wow the end, I finally found the end!!
So why wasn't everyone out enjoying the beautiful day today?
Ours started early this morning with a road-trip to the hill country to get some birds. First we stopped by and visited Betsy and got both a Silkie rooster and a Showgirl rooster and had a nice visit although it was way too short. Then it was off to Split Socket 222s place to get a trio of Asils in blue. Gorgeous birds. Of course we ended up getting another pair and having a very good visit and looking at some extra fine birds.
Then it was off to the Jones auction to meet Monty and pick up the NNEE or the EENN whichever suits you and man that place was packed. I swear there was not an empty parking place in Jones.
There were two birds there, one was a birchen Wyandotte and the other was out of the same line but it had a single comb. Maybe they were crossing with Rocks to improve size?
I will get some pics of the Asils tomorrow and the Silkie and Showgirl too.
The Asils will make Teach drool and I'm sure the Showgirl will make Sooner jump!!
Put around 300 miles on the truck today but we both had a good time, I'm very tired now that I have gotten sat down. Kate I took 51 over to 48 and up to 412. So how close were we to you?
