Okie-Doodle-Doo, the final tally of chicks that hatched are: 6 EE bantam, 6 Belgian Quail d'Anvers & 5 bantam Asil. One more Asil hatched but wasn't healthy & died. I thought for sure I'd have more EE eggs hatch than that. Gerald opened the unhatched
EE eggs & 7 were clear and 5 had embryos.

Awesome chicks

86th street N. and Harvard. It is Sperry... I am not trying to sell it for him but just thought of you.

I just mentioned this to my husband and if Beth isn't interested we might be. Can you tell us more about it?

Go for it Kate!

Carla when are they gonna learn how inefficient all this overtime is? They have to pay you time and a half when they could just pay straight time if they actually hired enough people to do the work!

I TOTALLY agree! I feel so bad about wasting government money like that when there are so many people needing jobs. Actually, Tinker has been hiring more mechanics (temporary, contractor employed) to help with the workload, but they won't hire more office workers & we have to be there to make sure the workload gets scheduled & approved & that parts are planned & ordered.

I'm working the overtime, but I request compensatory time instead of overtime pay. I don't get paid the overtime money, but I do get to take a day off when they let me. I intend to take many Fridays off in the spring & summer & hopefully go to garage sales, flea markets & POULTRY AUCTIONS in 2010 !!!!!!!

Hey big Al! How's it going?

I thought about you when Gerald & I were at H & H Gun Shop today. We were sitting at the hamburger shop there, watching the big screen TV & they had a Food Channel show on. There was a contest between two teams of chefs that were building big gingerbread houses. I told Gerald you'd be great at that, since you're a builder and a wonderful chef too! Heck, you'd be a lot more handsome than any of those guys on there too! Well, I didn't tell Gerald that ... didn't want him to get jealous, ya know

Hey Al, The KCBS that is doing the Pitmaster series is the group I judge for. They were supposed to have a judging class in Ada last week but had to postpone it because they didn't have enough entries. I think they are gonna try and rescedule in January.

It does make a nice gift. I am giving some to folks I work with. Of course, you would have had more to give as gifts if your daughter hadn't decided she wanted one of each flavor.

Are you going to be at Mary's on Saturday morning? If so, I could probably get you hooked up with some more.
