Evening fellow feathered friends...

My tossing went out the window and I have been cleaning out the filing cabinets instead and tossing paper work.. been doing it now for nearly 3 hours... amazing how long it takes to look through each piece of paper to make sure its still good or needs to be shredded. Anyhoot thought to take a lil break and say hey... so HEY

Actually, the first goat I had was a bottle baby and I put him in the yard with the chickens, so he would be fenced in. He learned to follow the chickens into the coop through the pet door and preferred chicken feed to goat food. Even when he was older and was not able to get into the coop through the pet door, he would make a run for the chicken's feed every chance he got to slip in through the large door. Yes, goat feed is better for them, but chicken feed will work for several days in a pinch.

PoCo ,I'm not P&B but once they get their wattles in its fairly easy. The hens wattles will be small and pointed, the males will be much bigger and cup shaped. Some say the horns are smaller on the hens, but I could never tell much difference!

We have SNOW! well its really more like small sleet pellets, but the deck is white. If only it was a foot deep like farther east id getting!
