Thanks, Okla-doodle-doo,

I'll look at wattles tomorrow. All their little head horns seem to be the same size. In the picture below, is the guinea on the left showing cupped wattles? The guinea in the center doesn't seem to have any wattles. On the right I see big pointed wattles. Now I'm even more confused.

Hello all, I have pretty much been out of the loop for a few days.
Marybeth was the first to say rodeo but Brick243 said bull riding and then Les said bull riding. My dad was a calf roper and steer wrestler and he always wanted me to do that but I didn't like the idea of jumping off of a running horse onto a horned beast. I figured with bull riding if I got bucked off it was the bull's decision not mine.

I have done archery, hunted, noodled, and fished, but I have never tossed a midget although I might have if I had had the chance.
Al, I did toss cow chips a few times but not in the national event in the panhandle.
I think the original question was what four sports had I done competitively. I guess technically I competed in ever sport I ever played.
I don't know who gets credit for the answer. I guess it was a team answer.

Anyway Basketball in high school. Baseball in high school and college. Boxing duing my high school and college days and a bull rider during my early high school years.
Did anyone ever put those four together? I'll let slide the fact that it was supposed to be answered with one guess. I need to rehome a few roosters anyway.
SOOO who gets him?

J is the one who picked them. How did I know he'd pick a bird that eats as much as he does?

J says "eh. It's a chicken." At the Shawnee show, he showed interested in the buff orps, the partridge rocks, and the brahmas. When we got home and I started scoping eggs, his first choice was the partridge rocks. J really isn't all that interested in the chickens... other than the fact that he thinks my cochins and silkies are "mutant chickens".

So we just got in a little while ago from Tulsa. Charlotte danced her little heart out I guess, bcs she passed out in the car on the way home. However, my DH had called us after her first performance to let us know that one of the eggs was starting to hatch, he was freaking out on what to do. I guess he was just so much more used to when we had puppies and making sure they were all right and getting them out of them way when they would come quickly. He wasn't normally the midwife though and was typically my gofer. Anyways, we got home and two have hatched. They are both black and are doing well. So far I can't tell if any of the other eggs are pipping or not. Maybe by morning I will have more, yeah!

A use for your shredded paper is use it as mulch in your gardens. I sometimes use it along the paths in the veggie garden to keep the weeds and such down. Of if I am starting a new garden I put it down then pile the compost materials on top, with the final topping being wood mulch.

This is how we hatch our evil plan to involve our partners in our obession. I think you will find we all try to do it.
