And Merry Merry to you and yours, good buddy. Don't be startin' false rumors like that! Give me a bad name on here.

Normally when times are slow I spend time ordering books or working on grants or setting up computers or troubleshooting them or...

But tonight I'll just be putting my feet up and playing with the computer, talking to certain folks on a certain website.

Mornin everyone! Hope everyone's staying warm and dry! Wind woke me up around 5:30, we finally got up a little before 8:00. Started sleeting around then, just now startin to turn to snow and man is it blowin!

We were supposed to go to OKC for early Christmas with Grandma; we're rescheduling.
Prayers for everyone who has to get out or travel! Ya'll be careful!

I hope everyone has a merry Christmas.

Watching the weather on tv and it looks nasty out there so be careful. I have a big chunk of steel to put in the back of Teva's truck which helps and the 1-ton has that big, heavy flat bed on it so we are good there.

Jim : Good to hear you will be relaxing, Is Erlene at work too today ?.

Carah : I will be getting ready to start cooking as soon as the girls get up and around, they will be baking and gigling and I will be getting things ready for our old family recipe called Brilothi.

NN I will be stopping by the dollar store to get some cat litter for my car. I keep a bag in there ever winter. I don't know how I will do this year without my snow tires......might consider putting some weight back there too, of course today I have 350lbs of feed back there now.

Al I googled that, what is it? Nothing came up.

Till 3:00, then she will be taking our daughter out for a birthday dinner. Did she get you all squared away on that deal finally? I heard the plumbers had a hard time, too, although they are now supposed to be fixed up. She feels bad that it wasn't something she could control. Said you were a real trooper about the whole thing, so thanks for that.

If you need to get in touch with her, she is working in a different area at extension 3239. Or just PM me and I'll track her down.

Just got done helping the kids feed, that frozen rain aka ice really hurts when it hits ya in the face. Our girls are going to be locked up in the coop today... and I know they arent going to be happy.

Hey Buster Al is always starting the rumors about you then he tries to come off as though he was always on your side..

No you won't find it on google silly. This is a family recipe that was a result of the great depression when some cut's of meat were $$$ out of range. Here let me see if I can show you. And all of you guy's don't make fun of my old Immigrant roots LOL, Henny Hush!!!!!!!! hehehehe.

AL

We start with a dough that has some Lard in it for flakeiness and flavor, roll it out thin and spread Olive oil, salt/pepper. then lay on the seasoned Pork That I custom grind at home just for this recipe.

Then we roll it up

Then roll it into this and let it rise before cooking.

then after 2+ hours in the oven it's done to perfection, the meat is cooked well with tenderful flavor.

Pure heaven, So we continue this Tradition on Christmas Eve so we never forget where we come from and how hard things were back then. Kinda silly but in our Family it is a must LOL.

I know it may not appeal to everybody, but just watching the older relitives get excited about making and eating them and telling stories from that time makes it worthwhile.

Yeah everything worked out just fine, The plumber called me we got it handled, Although Harold is a nice guy he may not be as solid as Erlene thinks, and she had to end up doing more than she should have bless her heart, I was happy to help out thanks for everything. Good job on the processing so it is needless to say you are now a pro at it.
