I don't have to fix anything. DH has two sets of parents so by the time we have dinner with one set tonight and the other tomorrow we don't usually want anything remotely close to the traditional dinner. Next weekend will be my family. I will do more cooking then.

I will hug your Maddie girl when I get home. She is excited about Christmas, I love seeing that.


Side note, the rain has stopped here but the wind is really picking up.

* TIMING: THURSDAY MORNING AND AFTERNOON.

* MAIN IMPACT: HEAVY SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW... LOW VISIBILITY AND STRONG WINDS WITH WIND GUSTS OF 45 TO 60 MPH. BLIZZARD CONDITIONS AT TIMES. SNOWFALL WILL AVERAGE 4 TO 8 INCHES... BUT SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA MAY RECEIVE 8 TO 11 INCHES... GENERALLY BETWEEN LAWTON AND PAULS VALLEY.

* OTHER IMPACTS: WIND CHILL TEMPERATURES WILL BECOME DANGEROUSLY LOW AS ARCTIC AIR BUILDS INTO THE REGION TODAY. WIND CHILLS WILL FALL TO AROUND 5 TO 10 DEGREES ABOVE ZERO.

Wow I love the pictures Henny I wish that it was here already!! I had a talk with my birds last night to get them ready for the weather and I think that they completly understand what I was talking about because they are all huddled up in the coops and apparently talking about something very important because they sure where loud! The latest weather here is 4-7" I am thinking that they are completly off there rocker and we will get more like 14-18" either way as long as we can get snow and I can go and kill some rabbit I will be perfectly happy!!!

I will on and off here today before heading to MIL's this evening. I won't be on much for a few days because we are leaving in the morning to head East. That is if we think we can make it. Hopefully it won't be as bad as they think.

DH has to drive to Tulsa daily so I had him put them on his ride. If it is bad my boss lives by me or I can take one of the 4 wheel drives here at work. Won't take much to keep me at home. Wonderful that I can work from there too.
