Yes that is correct! One of my favorit western's, just heard someone say that yesterday.....maybe I will watch that when I get home.

Hi all. Thanks to all who are praying for me & thinking of me. I'm in Enid, took me 5 hours to get here. I kept hoping I'd drive out of the snow & wind but it's not going to happen. Be safe everyone! I'll post when I'm home safely. Thanks for being such a fantastic &caring extended "family" to me!

Here Buster, in case you missed it...

My hat is off to you for getting everything in the freezer and I am glad you are "taste testing" and hope you will share your results with us.

Sorry you have to work this evening - please be very careful going home - and watch out for anyone that doesn't know how to drive on icy roads.

Thanks for including the name of the movie with the favorite line - I don't watch many movies and can't recall details of them when I do see something, so it is nice to have the name of the movie.

We are located just about 4 miles south of the very big wreck on 1-40 visibility stinks between 300 -400 feet, pretty much right in the square of Yukon El Reno, Mustang and Union City where they are talking about the worst of the snow is. Its bad hubby came in about 30 minutes ago from checking all animals and said all chickens were in coops except for Jerk (NN rooster) he had snow gathering on his feathers I just checked out the back window and I guess he finally decided to go in. Thank Goodness we are in Caddo Electric we do not normally lose power as most of the lines around us are buried (keeping my fingers crossed). The snow is blowing so weird I either lost the cap off my stove vent or it is blowing up into the cap Yeah another thing to add to the insurance claim.

12:05 Just went to the front door and can barely see road in front of house 100 feet.

Vashi came home from his shop in Tulsa a few minutes ago. I was getting ready to call him. It is sleeting pretty hard and turned the grassy areas white in no time. He said the roads were getting pretty slick. If I'd been on when Beth checked in, I'd have suggested she stop here for the night if it got too hairy. She'll be driving within 3 or 4 miles of our place and she was just here Tuesday. She's probably in this area now, and with the sand trucks out already, she should be OK. She's driving all turnpike and expressways now, and they take pretty good care of those.

Yes Papa!! you are right, was outa here early, got some canned food in case we lose power, which we probably will, will lose the net shortly, satelite doesn't play there are weather conditions... love having a woodstove!! our only worry with no power is no internet...LOL!

the only smart ones of the flock are they brahmas, they are in the coop, the other gals will poke their head in and look, then out in the rain, wonder what they'll do with snow?

stay safe everyone and enjoy your Christmas!
