I sure hope you are teasing, but I know that wind is bad.
We have a sheet down on the floor beneath one of the skylights - one that hasn't leaked in the past - because there is mist falling beneath it into the room. Really weird - I guess because the snow/sleet is blowing sideways.

Hey guys,

Here is an update as a view shot from our well house

We had to all head out to check on the animals which I am glad we did, Found our geese, duck and turkeys were getting snowed in .... literally in their housing pens by all the swirling snow. Our Pony Trisket was a bit dazed and confused

and didnt recognize DD or Hubby as they tried to get her moved in... Realized her eyes were nearly frozen shut... I had to guide her to me with my voice.... The goats were freaking out so we have them and Trisket together... Jason and daughter just got done laying up temporary boards to keep the snow from accumilating inside the holding pens..

Ya know the snow is a blowing when you make tracts going to your destination only to see them covered up again to make your way back into the nice warm home...LOL

Even the guineas and turkeys have taken shelter, instead of roosting on top of the fence or flight pen. I have seen them out in an ice storm, so this must be going to get much worse if they have taken shelter.

We went out about 8:30 this morning as the sleet was starting, went to Dollar Tree for the cheap stuff that we wrap so the grandkids will have lots of junk to unwrap. They don't care what it is, they just want to rip into paper. I need to start wrapping it all up shortly, but the grandsons are hanging out here for the time being so I can't do that yet. We have already changed tonight's menu in case the Korean restaurant is closed. Lasagna and garlic bread will suit the grandkids just fine. If it weren't for disappointed grandchildren, I would suggest we reschedule for tonight and go to bed early. Hope the electricity and the weather hold up so that we aren't forced to reschedule. They are saying this weather won't stop until about 8 pm.

No, I'm not teasing. I have a brick wall in front of my house with a Marine Corps emblem in it and a flag pole behind it. The wind laid the flag pole on the ground and I'm kinda worried about the brick wall.

What do I want on my tombstone?

Sooner when it starts getting bad post I think that I am the last one in line to get the weather coming through Okieland!! It is still just rain but the wind has picked up quite a bit. City glad that you checked in hope the remainder of your journey is safe!!!

Q I will post but for now I am just hanging out. The weather on computer show the pink getting to my area but not the blue so I figure I am good. It isn't slowing down the people flying by the office.

Well I can tell you all this the weather does not slow down the gamblers for sure!!! Big Okie appreciate the heads up, I am sure that it will be a mess by the time that I get off of work, so far no call ins so I will get to go home till at least 10 tonight and then will have a likely chance that I will be here for the night shift and probably most of the day tomorrow, we only have a few people that live close enough to safely make it to work and I am the closest and the one that has to be sure that the shifts are covered since my boss is out on vacation so I am sure that it is going to be a long next couple of days!!
