Ronnie and Buster thanks for the tips the Humidity is what I am fighting but I have been at 101.7 to 100.0 for the last 4 hours so I think that I am going to go ahead and set the eggs and pray for the best!!!

The common name for Marek's disease is Range Paralysis. It will hit the legs first and most of the time one leg will be forward and one to the back, the bird will have it's wings held outwards to keep it's balance and then it will spread to the wings and the bird will just lay there. Birds may recover in time with a lot of work from the keeper but that is rare.

Feel the leg really good and check for broken bones if none are found it could just be a sprain and it will take time but the bird should recover fully. Keep it well confined and keep feed and water close for it.

Grace - where are you located? I'm moving there! We got over 11" of the stuff and now we have mud like you would not believe! I was walking into the house from my car this evening and stepped in a hole I didn't know was there. I had muddy, icey water halfway up my knee!

I had a great day, glad I could make you guys smile. Everyone is taking off tomorrow but I am going in for a couple of hours then to the store for New years goodies. We have a set of friends that are coming over to play card or domino's. I think we have done this for the last few years.
