Carah....enjoy your mom while you can. It was really rough being the first Christmas that I've not been with my mom in my entire life. I think that's why my kids came home and stayed for 2 weeks to try to help that lonely feeling. I was sure thankful to have my family here during the storm and having a great time.

There's nothing like going home to mom....especially when you need some advice. Sure do miss that.

Just looked at BoggyBottom Farms website again. uhmmmm my 2010 wish list is getttging bigger. I have got to come up with some houdan bantams and some mille fleure d'anvers!I've got to get serious and try and get a big incubator this year! I have a couple of great stryafoam boxes that would make nice ones but I am electrically challenged!

Al right now it is not looking very likely, and if I did make it I will be alone lol Carolyn is not a big fan of traveling in the winter!! We are going to make it down there this spring and probably gonna come down on a Friday and come back on Sunday so maybe we can visit with some of the Okies down your way!

I got up outta bed to come in here and troll my back posts to figure out when I set those darned rock eggs. I couldn't remember, J couldn't remember, and all I know is that sometime in the next few days I need to turn off the turner and throw in some water.

Turns out that I've got 4 days before I have to take them out of the turner. I'm going back to bed now.

Hey i just got home to find a bad case of cannibal babies. I have about (60) 12 day old birds that I moved into a bigger brooder today and 8 birds are bleeding at the tail feathers which were just comming in. I see others that they are starting to pick on . Any suggestions?
