Welcome to the board, Jim! There's a woman about a mile north of me (close to Amber) that has show stock Blue, Black, and Splash Langshans. She's thinking about selling the eggs, let me know if you would like her number.

Grace, be sure to send pictures when your babies hatch! I'm sure you'll have a much better one than mine.

Okie, you should take them to the Cement auction, it so much cooler than the one in Harrah.

Sorry I can't take in anymore right now, I bet the Jap and Cochin are really pretty.

Is the Cement Auction going to be on March 1st? Is it better than the Harrah Auction?

Does anyone have the address & phone contact for the Cement Auction? I'm thinking of selling some of my extra birds there, if it's better than Harrah. Also, can baby chicks be sold there? I should have some chicks due to hatch at the end of this month.

Some of my friends run the Cement auction. The first auction was held this month, it was a great turnout! There were more birds than Harrah's. Everyone had adult birds; I don't know about selling chicks because there's no heat in the building where the auction is held.

The contact info for the auction is on the first page of my website. The date is wrong, because I haven't had a chance to update it.

Thanks Countyroad, for the info on the Cement auction. So, there's a bird show on the same day, March 1st, in Pryor?

OK, I'll probably hang on to my chicks anyway. I'd like to see how they turn out.

I might take some 3 month old Spitzhauben chickens though, and some 6 week old Jersey Giants.

I've got to make some room in my barn for all the eggs I'm hatching that I bought from this website and ebay!

I was going to show in Pryor, but I've decided its way too long of a drive for me. Let me know if you go to the Cement auction, maybe we can meet up. When you bring your birds in make sure you tell them what they are. The Glass's go to shows, and they themselves might by your birds.

Cement is about 25 minutes south of me, so maybe an hour 20 minutes for you Okie ???

If ya'll are worried about finding your way to Cement, I know you can at least find your way to my place and then follow me there. I guess we can get details together when its closer to time.

Carla, I know that at the local auction around here they sell chicks, but only in boxes of like 10 or more (I'm not sure the specifics of how that all works out...). Anyway, the building is not heated or anything, they just sell the chicks first, then in becomes the new owner's responsibility of taking them home or finding a way to keep them warm.

Cammie, you know you all will be swamped with pictures when my chicks hatch
