OK official count for NN roosters:

1 black/rosecomb/green legs
1 red/single comb/ green legs
1 red w/black tail/rosecomb/yellow legs
2 red w/black tail/rosecomb/green legs

There are also some other really good looking roosters. There are a couple of EE roosters, dark colored. There is one that appears to be a NH, but I'm not sure. There is also a black with yellowish hackles, I'm not sure what he is, but he is very pretty. There is a total of 10 roosters that need to go. They are just too pretty for freezer camp, and they appear to have a good temperment. I haven't had any attackers, yet.

Hello all! Is everyone surviving this mess?
Shaun was out of school again today. the main road are clear but the secondary roads are still slicker that snot. John was telling me that it is suppose to snow again tomorrow. UGH!!
Shaun and I worked on our barn most of the morning trying to plastic the windows and put tarps up on the north side. We will move the goats tomorrow. I hate confining them to the barn but with the new storm coming in I think it is best. I want to put straw down before I move them so that don't inhale so much 100 yr old dust.

When doing chores today we found Shaun's Red Pyle Modern Game roo dead! He has already lost a Birchen hen. These birds are his favorites and I just hate it that he lost them. We have tried to protect them the best we can because they are so susceptible to the cold. Short of bringing them in the house, there is nothing more I can do.
So if anyone can hook me up with Red Pyle Moderns I will be forever in you debt! We plan to go to the Pryor bantam show.

Where is Kellyville OK? There is a goat show there this weekend and when I mapquest it I get that is 18 miles from here just south of Wyandotte Ok, say what?

Carah I was just at Walmart and they still have ALOT of cookie Tins left they are $1 is that a good price?

That's something I am always afraid of in this kind of weather.
The good news is, I think I know a lady who has an extra Red Pyle Modern Game roo!!!! I will ask her and let you know!!

Well, my juveniles made it thru the night. I was worried about them but apparently, it wasn't warranted. They are following Evan around like he is the pied piper. Of course, he usually has a bucket of corn with him. That might be a reason. At any rate, I'm glad to see them fat and healthy. They are some really pretty young birds. Al, I'll post some pictures for you. These are by that rooster I showed you.

This winter I had a pullet spend the night out side.... it was verrrrrry cold and sleeting. She's perfectly fine, and even laid an egg the next day!

Cool Carla! Glad to know you and Gerald are going to the Blanchard Auction Saturday. Roll Call on who else is going to the auction. I am not sure if Uli will be coming along he is not so much into the birds, auctions and stuff, but I am trying to change that. I tried to entice him by the prospect of nachos
