Jim :
I certaintly don't think there was that big a difference in the score, What you are suggesting is a high school or college frame of mind, they are trained to play 60 minutes of hard pro football and to suggest that the last touchdown was running up the score is .....well unfounded. Did you expect them to just lay down and quit ??, they got out played on both sides of the ball and that was it. Now sure I would like to have seen a closer game sure but Dallas couldn't get it together, their kicker will have his walking papers by the morning as is JJ's style. It was typical to listen to the dallas post game show on the radio and the fan's if you could call them that were immediatly calling for the instant firing of many key players, forgeting they have had their best season in 10 yrs. Dallas did play well all year long and now to call for the players and coaches to be burned at the stake is a clear sign of disloyalty, You should have seen the man ( Jerry Jones ) strutting up and down the sideline scowling at the players he personaly buy's and pay bazillions of $$ for, with the look like your gone and your gone and you and you and you. I have never like Dallas because of their lack of loyalty to the game and it's traditions, America's team fooey, they had the gaul to proclaim that title for themselfs, any real football fan knows that there were America's team playing when Texas was fighting in the Alamo.

Now you I like you Jim, and you know My team was dead in week 6 but hey I am still there for them and still wish them well. Just wish and Hope your boy's do better next year.

Love ya brother

You have found a wonderful group of people, many of whom are addicted to hatching eggs, acquiring poultry and attending poultry auctions. Just remember that some addicts tend to also be enablers and may try to entice you into the world of being addicted to hatching eggs, acquiring poultry and attending poultry auctions.

That said, what kinds of poultry do you have and what kind would you like to acquire?

The phone number in my signature line for Marie at the Department of Ag is the number you need to call to sign up for the NPIP testing class.

City thanks again.

These are the new ones I traded for friday. McAllen I'm ashamed to show mine on here after looking at your roos! Wow! those should be winners for sure. They are games, not O>E>'s right? Excellent feather condition and very proud with lots of chrisma.

My crele has some damage to the comb from a skirmish with the other crele roo. They bothe are identical, proably brothers. And the Quial roo has a massive comb and it has a deep wave in it. Going to be a difficult one to dub I'm afraid. I thought the barreds were really nice. Thr roo is missing his tail feather(the long ones). I wish my blue golden would color up like McAlllens golden but he proably won't be that good of quality. But I really liked his Front lacing.

PoCO there are some white orp. eggs on thye egg for sale thread.

Kathryn, everytime I log onto BYC it tells me the last time I was on the forum and when I log into to the Okies in the BYC thread, it automatically takes me to the last post that was made before I signed out when I click on "new posts"

As Buster suggested, when you want to reply to a post, right click on the "quote" button and open it up in a new tab. That way, you don't lose your place where you were reading when you want to make a comment.

It wasn't the players, it was the coach's decision. If they run the ball and the guy busts loose and scores, that's one thing. But to call a passing play? Into the end zone? That's called running up the score. Eagles ran up the score on the Boys last year and payed for it by getting stomped all three times they played this year.

And it isn't like Jimmie has an agenda against the Cowboys' owner or anything. I'll tell you this... there is no way Jimmie would have run that play. No way. He would have called a running play, pure and simple.

Yeah, and the cowboys ran up the scores.

Well, no they didn't, as a matter of fact. They just won the games handily. You don't let up as long as the other time has a shot at winning. Running up the score is when you purposely call plays to score rather than run out the clock on the other team by making first downs when that team has absolutely no chance to win the game.

Like for instance when they are twenty something points behind with less than two minutes left in the game.

It isn't just about being a bad sport, though. The reason its a bad idea to run up the score has a lot to do with psychology. It's stupid to give another team added incentive for next time they play you. Like saying disparaging things about their mothers during the lead-up to the game. You don't want to give them additional motivation.

And I'm okay with you hating the Cowboys. There are several teams that I "hate". There is really no rational reason for it, or for me to be a fan of one particular team over another. It's just part of the fun of sports, to root for one side or another, or to channel our tribal and aggressive warlike instincts through sports. To be honest, I don't care for OU. The only time I pull for OU is when they are playing Texas, and only then to irritate my sister who is an alumn from UT. So, I guess we're even on that score.

I made some fresh stir fry with Bok Choy & beef and chicken, with some shrimp fried rice on the side. I am now frying some seriously super hot thighs as a snake for the week, I love to reach in the fridge and pull out some cold fried chicken as a snack. I had better go check and see if I have enough antacid an hand LOL.

Ya'll stay well for a few days and keep chatting - after a job I have tomorrow down near Hugo, I'm going on to Denton, TX to visit my folks. My stepdad Tom
love.gif
is in the hospital - he had surgery last Tuesday to remove a large tumor in his colon as well as an infected gall bladder. My mom refuses to leave him alone in the hospital (of course) and she is exhausted. I hope once I get there she'll feel like she can go home for awhile and get a little rest. The tumor was cancerous, and scans show growths on Tom's liver and spots on his lungs.

So I may not be on for a while (unless they have wireless internet in the hospital, then I may be on more than usual!).

Both auctions would net 6 or fewer white orp. eggs. one is for 6 and 6, the other is for a rainbow assortment (probably only 3 eggs would be for the white orp.

Thanks for checking. I may end up ordering from Sand Hill Preservation Center.

TJ's Na-Na :

Good Morning Gang ! Drank my coffee, looked at my
"to do" list, .....toooo much on it, so am preparing my
spot to watch football instead........
thumbsup.gif

I'm not even ready, but Pa-Pa and TJ are already
saving several types of eggs and threatening
to fire up one of the incubators. Hum, is on my
chore list to clear the spot I want them to move
it to.........so will have to break down and do that
one regardless........

Bill has been pouring through one of the Almanacs
he picked up the other day. It says that we'll
have another major winter storm after the first
of February.
So, enjoy this reprieve for a couple
of weeks. Those almanacs seem to hold a pretty
darned good average of predicting stuff.

Better get a pot of soup on and cornbread in the
oven, so I can watch that first game....for sure !!! LOL

Have a good one !

Not another winter storm in February! Nooooo!!!!!

the department of Ag tester is coming this week to renew my NPIP certificate, so I guess I will get the incubator and brooder up and running tomorrow so that he can inspect them and "hopefully" certify me as a NPIP hatchery also. Wasn't planning to get the incubator going this soon, but then this is also earlier than my NPIP testing was done the past two years.
