Donna you are in charge of dumplins and peach cobbler. Oh and whatever Carah needs you to do.

Monty...I can get her done!!!

I know you can, that is why I put you in charge of those things.

Okay, maybe someone can answer these questions.

Does anyone have any clue what breed this little girl is? She was the baby that was in the regular auction at POOPS.

Can anyone tell me what if my little Serama girl looks good. I don't have a scale but she is still little. Possibly an A but definitely not any bigger than a B.

Finally, does anyone want a young trio of EEs?

After talking to that guy, I realized that there are hobbies that are WAY MORE expensive than chickens.

I'm paid for photos that are published in magazines and for those that are used in shows on the science & discovery channels, so it is a "paying" hobby, but between the home observatory and the equipment I use to shoot the photos I have a high 6 figure number tied up in it.

Chickens are cheap!

Today when I made the mash for the outdoor chickens, I introduced the new feed into the mash, along with the standard bird mix (sunflower seed, millet, dried fruit, cracked corn, etc) and some crumble. They had it wolfed down in no time flat. Tomorrow they'll get the mash and the new feed as their primary food because I ran out of layer pellet tonight. We'll see how this goes and how much waste there will be.

The little black chick looks to me like a possibly Polish mix. She's super cute.

How old is the Serama? I ask because my young birds changed quite a bit as they got a little older. I'm assuming she has not started laying because of her comb. The wings are supposed to be straight down and the tail straight up. As they mature, their posture seems to become more upright. A postal scale works very nice in getting their weights. Give her some time to mature. The first color the SCNA is trying to get recognized by the ABA is white. Your girl is very close to that.
