Hang on...you aer going to the city to sleep under the stars...does anyone else see a problem with that? Come out here...I will show you stars! There really is a milky Way and you can see it out here! When my nephew spent a summer with me he was amazed that it really existed...way too much time in HOuston!

Does anyone know of a trick that will help make fresh eggs easier to peel when hard boiled? My Dad said he saw on TV that you can cook them in salt water (about a half cup of salt in the water) and it's supposed to make them easier. Ihaven't tried it--seems like it would just make the eggs salty.

crud..there was a thread about that...um...seems to me there was something about soaking them in cold water afterwards or salt or letting them sit out for a day or two or...heck I don't know...I bet P&B knows. She is cool that way! Heck she knew stuff about cell phone antennas and where to find the law deal...that really impressed me by the way...it really doesn't tkae much to impress me. I am simple that way...and a couple other ways...be quite Q

Sooner I was just wondering so I could look it up and see if they were hiring. Gotta find the wife a good job so she will move back!lol

Teach Iain't kidding you I walked into the loft to feed this afternoon and there must have been over two hundred of them dang startlings in there. They started hitting the windows and walls and bouncing off everything trying to find an ewscape route. The poor pigeons werte afraid to move!lol

How close are you to claremore. My husband is a traper he got rid of most of the ones and other critters around here that was getting my ducks.

We live in Piedmont...I'm not sure where Claremore is...but those darn things got my chickens more than once--in broad daylight! And WHY is it that they get the best of your chickens? It's like they know which are the best...

I am about 1hr from north Tulsa We use to have them real thick they would come up to our back fence. I knew someone that got rid of a bunch of them by putting some rat poison in some meat and put it where you know for sure they come. They will eat it and then die. (might seem cruel) I would rather put a bullet in their head. But i guess it would depend on how bad they was. They can end up costing you alot of money because they will keep coming back until your chickens are all gone.

DH bought some at Bass Pro Shop in Broken Arrow. We looked there again and they were out, so we ordered from Cabela's. Search for CCI Pistol Shotshell Ammunition on Cabela's webiste. Here's what the manufacturer says about the shot shells: Give your pistol the performance and versatility of a shotgun with this shotshell ammo. It's ideal for small game and varmints.

I really like it for snakes.

i can call around to a few places i know that might have it, is it 38spl/357mag, or just 38spl? you can also reload them if you do any of that,i have some for my 45 colt that i loaded with BB.
