I was there with my granddaughter. We both had a wonderful time. I guess I'm overly anxious for the next POOPS meeting because I know I can talk chickens, non-stop, for an entire day and nobody is going to shush me.

Poco and I traded Polish chickens and guineas at the last POOPS. She showed me a very clever way to make a give-away carrier, with a cardboard box and some chicken wire fastened on top.

I purchased a box of blank cards today. I planned on sending handwritten cards out later.

We went to eat in town tonight. A friend of my FIL happened to be there. Someone overheard us talking and offered a gift. Mind you this is a complete stranger. He offered to get a headstone for the gravesite and paid for our dinner. Dinner for the four of us was around $50 on its own. I just don't feel a card is enough to say thank you. I wanted to start crying in the middle of the restraunt and still tear up when I think about it.
