Some people get to POOPS several days before so you definitely will find plenty of people already there on Friday night. A schedule will come later. Cleanup is on Sunday so you would be very welcome to stay.

Plenty of parking... No fees for day-use. Last time, there was an auction to re-coop expenses involved with running POOPS. The auctioneer was excellent.

Other than all the mud, it's about cleaned up. The fallen branches are pretty well stacked out of the way and those that are just waiting to fall are far enough out of the way that they don't present much danger.

It never seemed to phase the birds, they kept laying right thru the worst of it.

My hens aren't laying very well right now. Any secrets you want to share regarding lights and protein levels or pictures of frying pans?

What is the protein level in your layer feed? I've been getting 10 and 12 eggs a day out of my 12 hens, and I noticed it really kicked in after I changed from a 15% protein to a 20% protein feed.

We are going to be a weekender crew at POOPS we have fun on all three days and anyone new dont be skeered we went our first time last fall and my family and I felt right at home just a short time after we arrived!!

This was not a man that knew my FIL or us before tonight. He just happened to be eating at the same restraunt and overheard our conversation. He did give us his business card to get in touch with him, so he could get the engraving correct on the headstone. I am at a complete loss as how to repay the favor. I will do as suggested and write the card out. I will try to find some way to repay him.

I am already feeding 20% layer pellets - in fact I bought another 6 bags on my way home this evening.
