I imagine it is more difficult to convince toddlers that chocolate milk DOESN'T come from brown cows and that white milk comes from all colors of cows.

Country Hatchery is in Wewoka, but I didn't see any Favorelles on their site - they do have the EEs and bantams
http://www.countryhatchery.net/chickens.html

I know that I have seen a list of hatcheries in Oklahoma in the past, but can't find it on the Department of Agriculture or the OSU websites and only found 4 hatcheries when I googled "Oklahoma hatchery", two of which are game bird hatcheries and one of which specializes in guineas.

Yes, I have googled Oklahoma Hatcheries and got the same thing. It is not Superior or Country Hatchery. I think someone on BYC mentioned it before and that is how I found it. Totally hate when I do things like this, it is very frustrating. The sad thing is I even googled the location so I knew where it was, just forgot to save the map.

Well I guess it was not meant to be.

Years ago I owned an archery shop. I had a sign on the front of the counter that read: "Unattended children will be given an espresso and a free puppy!"

My sister's kids are actually very well behaved. It's just having that many bodies in this itty bitty house. Also, J came home from drill around 645pm instead of 8-10pm (the 1sgt was being given a retirement party tonight at the drill center, so the Major released them early to get them out of the way), so I had 7 people in a 700 sq foot house. It was a wee bit cramped.

mprning all... yes i am up, silly dog- if she has to go out she will walk up and down my legs while i am trying to sleep, hard to ignore, glad sh is a tiny dog! looks like everyone is enjoying their sleep...sigh....

Thank you, Stimp. This looks like the list I saw many moons ago.

NNbreeder - is the Miller& Miller Hatchery in Kingfisher still an ongoing operation or are you and Teva now only hatching for yourselves?

Muesky - I think this is the one you were looking for, since they have the Salmon Favorelles and they don't ship day old chicks - they are pickup only.

Morning All Okies,

This is Doc Holloway from Fletcher.

I got a message early this morning from Cindy Whisenhunt of Mannsville, Oklahoma. Her husband, T.R. Whisenhunt, passed away
Thursday evening. The services will be tomorrow (Monday) at Mannsville at 2 PM at the Assmbly of God Church.
He passed away in his home with his wife by his side.

TR was an cowboy, auctioneer and trader in poultry, farm equipment and livestock. TR was a cowboy and rodeo man. He roped and bull-dogged
for years on the circuit. Cindy raced barrels.

TR was the person that started calling Montana "Hotdog".

Anyone that knew TR and knows Ms Cindy knows that both loved the Lord and people.

We request that if you can make his services do so please. If not, please pray for Cindy and their family.
