As long as they are able to have it, and as long as the snow and ice is gone enough that we can make the drive, I don't think I'll ask for anything more! Hey, my birds might not look their best, but I'll be glad to be able to go

I usually use my kitchen sink. I use the spray to get them good and wet in the first sink. Then I lather them with blue horse soap to brighten their white. You can use bluing but I kind of like the fail safety of already mixed shampoo so they don't turn blue. I rinse in the same side. The second sink is filled with warm water and a cup of vinegar. It helps to cut the soap. Then our chickens get a soothing towel dry. While waiting in the towel, they get a beakicure and pedicure with the dremel. Some times they get a little extra time in the towel while waiting for their invigorating blow dry. We usually do ours in pairs so it's not uncommon for one to be sitting on one of my knees while it's mate is getting dried on my other knee. They get really used to the whole drama. I think they enjoy being fussed over.

You're not playing with your new cell phone - you're taking a self-developed training program on upgraded communications technology.

City, have you ever considered a career in politics? You have a lovely way with words.

Thanks P&B - I majored in Advanced B.S. in college - Monty has the same degree...

Oh man, what a rotten day at work. I am SO GLAD that it's over. My boss has days where certain people can do no right. Today was my day. Oh yeah, yesterday was my day too. If I'm extremely unlucky, tomorrow will go the same way. I'm half tempted to call in... which I won't do but is worth the effort of the thought just to brighten my mood.

Blue horse soap, eh? Guess I need to do dishes and such to clean out the sinks. Thanks for the link Grace, that was pretty funny as well as informative. I'm sure my birds need a beakicure and a pedicure...

At noon, the National Weather Service in Norman put out a map that projected up to 8 inches of snow in the Ardmore/Durant area; 1-3 inches in the Altus, Lawton, Pauls Valley, Ada area; with a narrow band between the two that was projected to get 3-5 inches. Parts North of Pauls Valley were projected to get a scant amount of snow.

Thanks Grace,you are too kind.
