morning guys- sittin here getting my byc fix, and listening to barny and ct practice their crowing- ct will attempt to crow, barny will crow back like, 'this is how ya do it!' too funny! things seem to have settled down with them- ct is allowed to have lily anytime, but don't touch the other girls- it is so weird, they will sit there, CT and Lily and stare at each other like highschool sweethearts, preening each other etc- and ct helps guard the flock when they are out

The city will be inspecting all 3 units for all the new C-flex plumbing, water heaters, new gas piping, and all the new Electrical upgrades I did to include splittng the 3 new meter boxes. It's all done so I'll sit there drinking coffee while I walk them through, should be a piece of cake. We finished all the Demo and drywall, texture and paint, and now on Monday we move to putting in the new doors, laying tile, and electrical fixtures. I ordered all new Cabinets for all 3 units and they are due in next week. Then the outside get's make over, new paint, porches, already did all the roofs, and new hardi-plank facia's. I am trying to recoup some $$ through the block grant community improvement deal they have, and thats why they want to crawl up my backside at every turn LOL. I need my chicken fix today and have some laughs.

Al...how the heck are you going to function today on no sleep? I think you need to slow down...let that mind rest. LOL You're going to have to rest it if you plan on keeping up with this group. LOL

Hope you have a great day. Sure envy you folks going to the auctions. We're going to be working on making some pens a little better to get by with. Just trying to make my birds a little more comfortable. I've sworn off buying anything else until I get the birds I have in better facilities. Have a great day. Man I love Saturdays.

Poco...I'm sure your frustrated with your troubles...I would be very hacked off also. However, EVERYONE has got to start thinking of others when posting on here. It is very frustrating for us to come home from a hard day at work and looking forward to sitting down to read and chat with our chicken friends to find that someone has broken the rules and gotten us shut down.

I know you probably weren't thinking that what you were saying was a problem...and you certainly haven't been the only one breaking the rules...unfortunately we don't make the rules ...we just have to abide by them if we intend to keep having this wonderful site to enjoy each other.

Everyone just remember that when we get frustrated or need to get on our soap box we need to do it through PM's so we don't ruin things for our fellow chicken friends.

I dont know what she said but I think I was the original one who broke the rules due to what speckledhen posted. I went back and removed the post as i didnt realize it was illegal and sent speckledhen a PM apologizing for starting it.

Now my California ways tell me to never talk to my neighbors.
That's just the way its done. If a dog comes in the yard you catch it
and call animal control. If the neighbors did that to my cat I would
call animal control again.
Chickens are like sitting ducks... Everything wants to eat them..
Now I dont have 275 eggs but the bator my hubby found holds that
many but needs "fixen". Two trays is all he has. He wants to get out
of the egg bussiness he told Chris. Not sure if anything he has extra
but if its good and for sale Im going to buy it and let you all know.
Once again I have a b-day party to deal with before I get to go get it.
The other person picking up today will beat me to the punch Im sure...

Good Morning.... I have a busy day.. And I get to go to a B-day party, My nephew is 1 year old today. He is so cute and I already informed his mom that there had better be 2 cakes, it just not fun if he doesnt have 1 for himself to destroy.
