We will be going provided my daughters baby shower is over early enough

You can come late & it will still count! LOL!

We do not try to impress anyone... Maybe that is a mistake on our part... Maybe thats what our failure is... We just try to run a clean, upfront and honest auction...

We want to be fair with everyone and will be... We Always treat everyone with the respect that they deserve!

And yes we want everyone to have good clean fun at our auction and feel comfortable being there...

I dont really care if there isnt a dime made at the auction as long as people are there and having a good time and know we are there to help anyway we can.... We are there for the people and not ourselves...

We try to provide a family, fun filled atmosphere for the town of Fletcher as well. Not like Fletcher has alot to do on any day let alone on weekends.

Blanchard Auction was the one's that thought it would be a good idea and wanted us to start an auction in Fletcher, it just took a little while for us to make our decision...
Auctions take a lot of planning as well as any businesses... Sometimes more...

I hope everyone has a good time at the Auctions as I do! I love seeing old friends and making new ones... And all of us sharing the same things.. THE LOVE OF POULTRY!!

If anyone every has a problem with anything at our auction, it is your auction too and I want to personally know about it... If you want to see something different, or different foods offered, please let us know, we try to change things and fix things. I know that Our building isnt the greatest thing, but the greatest thing that Fletcher has to offer. We use the Schools FFA building so that we can support the local FFA Chapter. A portion of our proceeds plus goes to the local FFA..

If you are having an event and would like for us to advertise it for you at our sales, by all means, let us know and we will get it done!!

"The world is round. We will get there!"

Do I need to have the EMS on call at our next auction? All the people that are wanting "Death By Chocolate" Cake, We are bound to need one.

We will be sure to make 2 of them to insure that there is enough to go around!!!

Wayne - I think your creles are beautiful and there are LOTS of chickens I want, but since I don't have room to quarantine or keep separate pens, my plan is to maintain a closed flock and stick with my laying hens for another year, then get new clucks.

I would like some input from you guys of "Big Pot Special" Meals served at our auction. I have been trying to stick to soups and such, but, with spring approaching, Would like some new ideas... Maybe spagetti? What would you guys suggest... Something that maybe folks would rather eat than regular concession foods... Please give me some Ideas...

When spring comes you could go with a "deli style" meal a few times, variety of crackers, cheeses, deli meats and maybe fruit that is in season and local grown... and then alternate with the norm of hot dogs, burgers, popcorn ect..

Taco Soup, chili, Chicken and Dumplings, ect

Checked awhile ago for progress with two remaining Silkie eggs. Mama hopped off them and they were cool--she'd obviously been off some. One was chirping, so I took them indoors in the "personal" incubator to candle (left a dud egg in nest so Mama would stay nearby). One was long dead, but the other near hatch though not pipped yet. Finished feeding and other chores and Mama was back on nest, so replaced the still chirping egg. Hoping for hatach. The three inside are darling.
