Okies in the BYC The Original

Caitlin had fun this morning at the show. She was the only cloverbud showing, of course there were only two other kids showing today. Very small turnout. Anyways the judge said caitlins cockerel had good color and decent body. needs shorter legs and better breast. one of the pullets had a decent type but both had poor color and long legs. And we all had a laugh when we realized that the rir are actually production reds. Yeah I had an idea they were, but they were pretty and thought I'd get caitlin to handle some larger birds. Anyways it was a fun and informative day and caitlin came home with a cloverbud trophy and rosette.

I can't go to that one either, cause it's during the week and I have to work.

I have school all day that morning, and must work that night.

However... I have a three week break in May after finals so... maybe then.

AH! I knew there must have been some reason

If you could fit it in, I think you should come in May! Just be sure to have an empty incubator ready, because there are sooooo many hatching eggs that sell there

Hmm... not really looking for anything unless I come across some dark welsummer or nice dark marans (BC or Cuckoo) eggs I just can't pass up.

But there are two sellers at Durant that have the darkest Welsummer eggs I have ever seen in-person! I'm not sure if you remember, but last year I once owned two dozen of those beauties.... until a power outage
