I had been told that there is a lady here in Ok that also makes soap and maybe willing to give me suggestions, any information would be appreciated! I am very happy to get the opportunity to participate here, I have already learned so much in just the few short days I found this sight! Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Did you see where we are having a get together May 1 at the KOA in Choctaw? We have done that twice before and everyone had a wonderful time. There is more information in the signature lines of Sooner and Al6517.

Evening, Everyone,

I've got some new babies in the brooder. I set some eggs that had been frozen (or at least they sure felt frozen), and quite a few hatched. After that cold spell I didn't get any eggs for a week or so, so I collected the next bunch and set those too. The chicks from the second clutch should be hatching Monday.

The biggest surprise came when I saw two black chicks in the incubator. Kate's post came to mind immediately. I've got a Barred Rock hen in with my Speckled Sussex group, and I had mistaken the BR eggs for SS eggs. I'm anxious to see what these BR X SS will look like. They sure are cute. The rest are pure breeds: SS, Barnevelder, and SF.

Well...I spent some time playing in the myd pit...I mean chicken yard...it is nasty. It started snowing here a bit ago but it stopped. I think it went around us. Y'all get ready it was one of them wet big flake snows. I need more room in my bator...someone else want me to keep their 'bator company?? Our ag teacher asked if I would have any eggs for her to hatch after spring break...duh

Howdy everyone hows it going? Got the incubators going yet??? i do im starting to find geese eggs and a few duck ( although i think there must be another nest somewhere

because i have alot of ducks I think spring is in the air we have baby goats and chicks and more to come.

I smacked them around and they behaved! Heck...I think I lost 3 or 4 classes to pictures. Can't remember what I got done actually! I do have two tests tomorrow...
