I think they said 52 dozen White Rock eggs. Jim sounded pretty miffed about it. I would be too, if I bought that stuff and tried to eat it at home, or worse, feed it to my kids.

Funny thing was I was walking around before the real auction (while they were selling all the junk I mean food I mean junk food) and saw the two containers of water with the words "Egg Tester" on the side and thought someone had played a practical joke, getting them to auction off two tupperware containers of water.

What a GREAT idea!! I bet I can put them on eBay and someone will buy them, lol.

I am trying! Heck I am even trying to pick on Faerie! My boys would love to visit by the way. They love it. We also do not eat casseroles that include chicken, rice, and mushroom soup. Another thing I ate enough of as a child...now take the same ingredients and do more of a really think soup...and I am happy

Teach, I am going to let DW read that when she gets back. That is what I just had for supper, and I basicly told her the same thing.

Have you ever shot a Marlin 35 Lever? I might try to get one this summer. I'm going full circle on what I hunt with. Started out with a 30-30 and think I'm going back to it.

Sounds like you have a predator

I am wondering about a 2 legged predator. I have always found feather or something when it was the 4legged kind.

I wasn't actually planning on feeding the neighbor kids. D asked their parents, THEN asked me if they could eat here, *after* I cooked dinner. She's lucky I didn't chew her out in front of her new friends. She just took them home...

heck even the rest of the stuff being posted is snooze...there was the one bashing folks that keep stuff in cages...I left it alone. i can play nice by ignoring folks! But it did irk me that they said it wasn't humane to do it to chickens so why did folks think they could do it with quail...

Wow, they wouldn't like me either.

nope...never shot one of them...only marlin lever gun i have shot was a 47/70 guide gun. I liked it. When I go bear hunting I am gonna get one...now to talk wife into it...maybe I should get everything paid for I have at the taxidermist first though!

And before you blame anything on me whe it comes to a wife....let her know that her cooking is probably much better than what I had so I said you shouldn't complain!

Sooner, those are the worst kind. Can't shoot them. A friend of mine was cleaned completely out last year, of chickens that I had given him, and even killed his dog.

Early bath night! We have that here on occasion...we don't have any kids that come over for dinner. Neighbor kid doesn't like being to far from mom

Kinda hard for the boys not going to school here

I'll show her your last post too. My 30-30 just always felt right when I shouldered it. But then you think you need something that will get out there farther, which is nice, but just never felt as confident as I did with the lever.
