Just to let you know you can buy an new electronic thermostate on ebay for around $15 (shipping included). I am going to buy one after we get back from NY to retrofit my havobator.

I can see me now, playing the "count as high as you can before a moderator posts" game every time I log on to BYC, so that I can get my post count up. Maybe if I did that 3 times a day for the next year, I might eventually make it to 5000 posts.
