This rain makes me so mad. Just got my pens dried out and not smelling like a hog pen and the rain has gone on all day.

I CANNOT wait to get my new coop.

well...my yard is now covered with a nice layer of hail. That was fun. No TV during that bit of fun! Now tell me this...why do ducks stand in the hail looking up like, "Hey! Cut that out! Can't you see I'm standing here?" Very foolish creatures...chickens were huddled under anything that offered protection...ducks roaming around. They do have a swimming hole though! The hole that is to be for their pond is filled! Of course so is the show coop! One of those to do over spring break...grade pen to flow away from coop...

I got home to all the eggs but two hatched out! Had to move the ones that had hatched except one, he wasn't dry yet. They are now in a box because I am out of cages!

I just got a 4 hole cage thingy that was used for rabits (free, my kind of price). I cut one cage off to put the birds Matt gave Madison in & the other three are still in the yard.

As much as I would love to come I know I can't. Madison's soccer has started back up & we missed last weekend. She told the coach we were going to be out of town instead of that she was sick. I'm sure he will think we just ducked out on the game. YOu have some extra fun for me! Pack your insulin & Carolyn's inhaler!

Q - I told her that plan...I now have a lump on my head and can't remember a couple hours of my life. Plus she keeps giving me the stink eye. I am a traveling fool but can only make so many trips. I ain't trusting kids and water....I seen what happens when I tell them to fill a beaker!
