Your back-up is there but not wired in nor does it have the wafer attached to it. The electronic switch should have a black knob that runs through the case to the outside to adjust it with. And let me tell you it doesn't take much movement to chang temp either. It really looks like your unit was changed over from a double wafer to an electronic.

Yes shut those holes down a bit and see if the temps even out.

How is everyone tonite?things are going good here.our electric will be on by noon tomarrow in the country.i borrowed a camara to take pics today but we didnt get the memory card so no pics yet.we hope to be in there by this time next week.lots of cleaning to in there.we put out $40 worth of bar bait an poison today.hope that will halt the problem

Thanks Donna.......... he was a great guy, family man, business man, civic leader and we were friends I think I was the lucky one to have him as a friend.

I believe a new wafer was ordered, I will ask him about it tomorrow. I will close the vents.

Sorry to have taken over the thread everyone. Les thanks for all the help, I don't understand what is meant by changing it but it should work correct?
