me barely...got some funky green on me...I have old bins from a hardware store that I use for roosting places...pigeons like them mostly...anyways...they have a funky green paint on them and now the side of my head does...

Did any of the lost roosters have access to those bins? Could they have lead based paint on them?

Ok, I thought I had this saved, and apparently my booklet from Les is in J's truck, so... what do I give a wheezy hen with a runny nose? Since the rest of them are in such close contact with her (and have been all day because I just noticed miss wheezy australorp tonight) should I go ahead and treat all of them?

One of the admin guys I work with heard that I have chickens (I don't talk about them much at work... I work with a bunch of insurance lawyers and insurance admin people, they are overworked and seriously underpaid so they are grumpy a lot) and told me that he and his partner just hate throwing away egg cartons, so would I mind if he brought me some? Sure, of course, go ahead!

So he brings in 15. Said he has stacks of them in storage (he's in the middle of a remodel). Apparently he has "issues" with throwing out all the egg cartons, and they eat somewhere around 2 dozen eggs a week!

Guess someone else's "issue" is gonna be my gain

Ok, I'll score the Terramycin after this stupid insurance exam tomorrow. Which I can practically guarantee that I'm going to do poorly on, since I had to cram study between two major college exams.

Good morning everyone. I didn't get a chance to post last night. I got the word last night that we will most likely be approved for the loan amount that we are asking. That means we will get the house fixed the way we want and have some extra to do new pens. I also got the approval from our current landlord to stay here until July 1st, instead of May 1st. Now there won't be near as much rushing around.

Sooner, I hope your 'bator leveled out and you didn't lose any eggs.

Chuck, I'm glad things are working out for your family. You deserve a big break.

Quenston, I'm glad things are working out for y'all too. Prayer is a magical thing, in my opinion.

Beth, you will be missed.

Mornings- gotta love em!

let see, so far before my first cup- dropped the chick water on my foot, spilling water in the house- see the chicks and banties sleep in the house at nite, then i shift them outside in the morning.... dumped my coffee on my cigs and got barked at by the old dog cuz i stuck him outside at 2 a.m. for waking me up every hour.... hope thats it for the day! Gotta keep a sense of humor on this kind of morning!
