I will have to let P&B decide what cake since I have no idea if I will make the sale. It isn't until next month right?

What sale will be on Easter weekend (next weekend for those of you that weren't aware).

Cement sale is on Saturday Night, April 3rd. Now for your side of the state, I don't know. But you are always welcome to come here anytime.

I'm going to try to make that one It's not set in stone yet, so if anyone in the OKC area wants to ride along.

NO, NO, NO...... P.O.O.P.S.

It s for P.O.O.P.S. Did you get a chance to read the post from day before yesterday? Post # 58279 see below:

Okay. I'm going to leave this to P&B and Sooner. No we aren't going to do the 10 people this time to an event.

Between the two of you, let Hi-Jacker know which cake you want him to bake.

Here are your choices:

1. Death By Chocolate cake

2. Strawberry Fructose cake

3. Pineapple Cream Cheese cake

Now, here is the kicker....... If you can get someone to PROMISE to bring a Pecan Pie, I will get him to make ALL 3 deserts for P.O.O.P.S.

And if you are diabetic, don't go near these cakes.

This is for P.O.O.P.S.

Better tell him to make all three, pretty sure I can get my mom to make a Peacan pie if no one else will bring it.

I was hoping you would say that.

I love seeing him in the kitchen with flour on his hands. Hot Dog loves it to lick the mixer beaters and the spatchula. Tell your Mom thanks since he said it had to be a Pecan Pie to do any good for him to make more than one. My favorite is the Pineapple Cream Cheese, although I do like the Strawberry Fructose too.

BEAUTIFUL Day outside to day. My little ladies are singing and ducks are all stretched out enjoying the sunshine!

I am refinishing our clawfoot dining table and Hubby had to go get more polyurethane for it.

Unfortunately, We will not be able to attend Chupps either. We have a farm implement auction at our salebarn that we need to attend, since we are selling a tractor for a friend in texas. So its important that we are there to watch it sell to make sure he gets the price he is wanting for it. This auction is being held by Rudy Glover, a local auctioneer on April 3rd, 2010 at 10am.

WE have also invited other children and parents to our house for a day of Easter festives on the 4th. We will be doing an easter egg hunt for the little ones, a full course Easter dinner and probably lots of dominoes and card playing.

Afternoon Friends!

Stimp - you almost got it right last night. I don't care what most folks think...I care what friends think. I do like to be harrassed! Oly cuz I like to give it back! i do use a mouse trap...one of them nice ones that catches a bunch alive....the I feed them to my snakes! lol

I am about wiped out today! Even had a dew! Mondays are brutal! warm weather has them feeling frisky! Next thing to happen is the lack of covering! One year i had to go get the female music teacher to inform my entire class (all girls) to cover themselves! Bellies hanging out...every single one of them! Sad thing is...we have a couple students that have realized that if they dress a certain way...I won't go near them. Great way to get a free day but sorry...I ain't going there!

The hatch for our classes (research paper) is scheduled for tomorrow. The incubator is here, holding a steady temp, and everything looks good. Wish I could have set some fancy eggs, but due to potential tampering, the crosses and other non-essential eggs went into the hatch. I haven't seen my sophomores this excited since the first day of classes. Most of the girls want to know when they can hold a baby chick. Most of the boys want to know how old the chickens have to be to taste good fried or baked.

The wind did a lot of damage at our place over the weekend. I managed to salvage the dog kennel panels, and straightened the bent side pretty well, but I don't think the pen will ever look square again. I got the EEs moved back in, without their tarp, so now I need to tear down and rebuild the kennel pen that's got the SS in it. It looks like it was lifted too, and set down hard a few times, because the bottom is no longer flush. Each panel seems to have been pulled up or down, like the paper on a plastic straw. At least it's sunny. I'm about to drive home with my windows down. Hope everyone had a nice day today.

If you cannot tell the color pattern (like Silver Laced) by looking at their baby feathers, here are the things I check:
Leg color
Comb type
Size (does it look Bantam or LF)
Signs of feathers on legs
Poofy cheeks (meaning it's bearded/muffed)
Extra head feathers (crested)

If you can even identify a few of these things on each chick, you should be able to tell what they are.
