My wife and myself are new to silkies (my wife had chickens when she was younger). We are from the wellston/harrah area...anyone else in the area with silkies? We got some of ours from Mr John Fitzgerald of Stratford Ok, and a few pet quality from a young man in shawnee. It would be nice to meet some other folks who enjoy silkies and raise them...We got 3 blacks and 2 blues (pet quality) and we also acquired 1 blue partridge rooster and 2 blue partridge hens, and 3 splash hens and a dark blue rooster from Mr Fitzgerald. They are very entertaining
