Our partridge cochines are doing good. They eat like there is no tomorrow.

I check them every morning and night. Peaches checks them 2-3 times a day.

It is like watching paint dry for them to grow.

Yes, I believe I did meet them. Very nice people. Hope you have a good hatch.

Blanchard started "testing" random eggs by dropping them into a bowl of water, after someone sold about 20 dozen that were WAY TOO OLD to hatch or even eat.

The BLRW eggs are a funny story because the guy who sold them bought a BLRW pair from Steph - that she really wasn't wanting to sell until he offered an outrageous amount of money - then he put the pair where they were exposed to recently wormed horses and cows and the rooster died from exposure to too much Ivermectin (since he had been wormed himself only a few days before the sale). Two weeks later, the guy brought BLRW eggs to the Blanchard sale and at the same time asked Carl if he could bring his BLRW hen back out to expose her again to Carl and Steph's remaining BLRW roo.

That guy is still hanging out at the auction, eventually he is going to rub the wrong person the wrong way.

And Carl didn't punch his lights out?

No.... We gave him his money back, the rooster was dead the next day after he bought him. After he got his money back thats when we found out that he had stuck them in a stable with over exposure to ivermectin.

He came over to me and asked where Carl was, I aasked him why he wanted to know, he ssaid he had a question for Carl. I told him I didnt know where Carl was, somewhere around the building(we were at Blanchard Auction). He went looking and Carl came back laughing. I asked what he wanted, thats when Carl said he had asked to bring the hen back out to the house to be mated. backsidehole!!!!

None of the goose or turkey eggs we got have hatched. They are in a hovabator.

We will find out if the GQF is working right. By this weekend we should be able to let everyone know.

180 eggs is a lot of money invested for them not to hatch.

Don't the Little Giant turners have white plastic square "cups" that snap into bottom metal strips on the turner's frame?

Not the newer ones.

But I use my three turners interchangeably among my 2 LGs and 2 Hovabators, including one with the snap in cups. So, it should work fine.

Carl exercised more straint than I probably would have shown.

We bought some eggs from a guy that every egg was old when we tested them.

If I know the eggs come from THAT guy, I won't be buying any of them. He is at Blanchard

every sale too.
